NZRA Conference and Annual General Meeting

19, 20th, 21st June 

2009 NZRA conference and AGM will take place at Turnbull House, one of Wellington City's finest heritage buildings, in the heart of Wellington City. It is located on Bowen Street, right opposite the Beehive and just a short walk from the Lambton Quay shops.



This year the NZRA Conference is calling on the extensive skills, knowledge and experience of our own members to provide a weekend packed full of information and techniques which can be taken directly into clinic on Monday morning. Many NZRA members have a wealth of experience that they are happy to share so we are making the most of that and utilising our strengths.

Taking into account the wide variety of interests of our members, the programme will comprise of a mix of styles – everything from moxa and cupping to the more esoteric will be covered. is year a new format will also be introduced on Sunday, with two panels of our most experienced practitioners making themselves available to everyone for questions and discussions. Sports Medicine and Women’s Health are the two topics for this year. Once again we will be welcoming speakers from ACC to keep us up to date with recent happenings and what we may expect in the future. e Health and Disabilities Commission will also join us in the lead into registration under HPCAA.

The weekend of the NZRA AGM and Conference is a great opportunity to not only learn new skills but also to reconnect with other practitioners from throughout the country. In response to members’ requests, on Friday night we will have a Conference Dinner. is is optional but members are encouraged to attend and party hard!
